amk's range of Power Steering Racks continues to grow as the majority of new vehicles are supplied equipped with power assisted steering. Our current range lists in excess of 600 applications covering car and light commerical.
All units for remanufacture are completely stripped down and subjected to a thorough inspection of all the major components prior to the reassembly process. Any components failing amk's strict quality inspection are replaced with parts manufactured to Original Equipment specifications.
amk has invested heavily in hydraulic systems and 'state of the art' re-boring machinery in its production facilities. Stringent quality control inspections are carried out by experienced engineering personnel (some having over 25 years experience) throughtout the reassembly process. Each Power Steering Rack is subjected to hydraulic and road simulation, testing beyond normal operating pressures prior to the final visual inspection and packing.
New remanufacturing techniques along with specialised equipment has seen development in electro-mechanical power steering systems.
