As more and more vehicle manufacturers are changing their power pump technology from mechanical/hydraulic to electrical/hydraulic units, amk has invested in this new technology working closely with a local university and now have an area within the Power Pump production department dedicated to this development.
amk now have available the 1st Generation of electrical/hydraulic Power Steering Pumps. Development in the 2nd Generation Power Steering Pumps is currently ongoing with several applications available now and more being released in the very near future.
All units for remanufacture are completely stripped down and subjected to a thorough inspection of all the major components prior to the reassembly process. Any components failing amk's strict quality inspection are replaced with parts manufactured to Original Equipment specifications.
Experienced engineers, using modern techniques and equipment, carry out the reasembly of the unit which is then tested beyond normal operating pressures, prior to the final visual inspection and packing.
